These darn leggings again... I know, I know, I just posted about them and they're back. They never really left, actually. I'm still obsessed. Let's just face it - Aritzia's Daria faux leather leggings go with absolutely everything and should be worn at all times.
As I'm sure has become obvious, I'm going through a bit of a "sweaters and leggings" phase. And a leather/faux leather phase. And a black/grey/neutrals phase. Hopefully you're not too bored of me yet, because I can keep on this theme for quite a while if the inspiration keeps coming.
All three of my latest phases have come together here and I think I look very Cozy Catwoman-Chic. If there was no such thing before, there certainly is now. I'm really surprised by how much I love this chunky turtleneck sweater. Normally I absolutely loathe turtlenecks, but this sweater gets a pass because 1) It's super slouchy, so it's not really a turtleneck and 2) Somehow it manages to look okay on me (!?). Also it was $20 on sale, so there's that too.
If you've seen one of my latest Instagram snaps you'll recognize the necklace I'm wearing. It's a really cool blue druzy stone on a long gold chain from a local boutique called Victoire which sells jewelry and fashion by Canadian designers. I gave and received from Victoire this Christmas, making me a very happy girl!
You may also be noticing my boots situation... and if you look hard enough you'll see they're actually peep toes and I'm wearing black socks to cover up the toes. Honestly this was more practical than anything since it was around -10C when I took these photos, but I like that these can do some double duty if necessary!

Prior to this impromptu OOTD shoot, I had actually been downtown to purchase more jewelry from Victoire to complement something I had received for Christmas. Keep an eye out for a future post on my newest pieces!
